A beautiful ensemble of six GA dining chairs and table designed by Hans Bellmann. The chairs are manufactured by Horgen Glarus, Switzerland, in the 1950s, accompanied by a matching Atelier table from the same period.
The chairs feature elegant four-legged frames in black lacquered metal and beautifully sculpted seat shells in laminated wood. Their exceptional design was recognised in 1955 with the prestigious Gute Form award by the Swiss Werkbund.
The ensemble is completed by Hans Bellmann’s Atelier table featuring a dark Resopal top supported by delicate black lacquered hairpin legs. The table's understated design and refined materials complement the chairs perfectly, creating a harmonious and distinctive example of Swiss Modernism.
Good vintage conditions with minor signs of use and age as shown in the pictures.
